A quest of a Nigerian factory worker based in Dubai, to make quick money through the illegal trafficking in drugs was ended by the eagled-eyed officials of the Nigerian Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), after he was arrested at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos, on his arrival from the United Arab Emirates.

Chijioke Chukwuemeka Raphael, a 36-year-old man, was found to have padded his boxer shorts with 1.8kg of cocaine which he had carefully pasted inside the short.

On interrogation, Raphael told the narcotics officials that he was given the drugs by some Nigerian barons based in the Asian country with the promise of N450,000 if he could successfully deliver the deadly consignment.
