Swedish Company puts microchips in employees

A Swedish company inserts microchips in its employees which might be a sign of the end times.

Are we now in the end times?

A Swedish company Epicenter has made it possible for its workers to receive microchips in their bodies via a syringe. The microchip is as small as a grain of rice and it gives whoever has it access.

Employees in the startup can use the microchip in their finger to open doors, print documents, or buy drinks with just a wave of their hand. This helps eliminates the need for identity cards in the company.

"The biggest benefit I think is convenience. It basically replaces a lot of things you have, other communication devices, whether it be credit cards or keys" said Patrick Mesterton, co-founder and CEO of Epicenter to weforum.

This might be the first time you've heard of microchips but it is not new. Vets use microchips on pets. It is also used in tracking deliveries. This is, however, the first time that it is being used on animals and on such a large scale. 150 workers have the chips out of 2000 employees in Epicenter which has more 100 companies.

Parties are held regularly for those who want to get the microchips in their bodies. Despite this advancement in technology, there are concerns over privacy and security. With a microchip in you, your movements can be tracked and monitored. Everything you do is uploaded to a server or cloud.

When it comes to security, who has access to your data, the government or a security firm and what will they do with it?

There is also the religious aspect. Remember it was said that in the last days there would be a one world currency that the anti-Christ will force on everyone? Could this be it? Is the one world currency a microchip that we will be required to have before we can make transactions and pay for things? Maybe the end of the world is truly here.

For now, just over 10% of Epicenter employees have a microchip. There are no plans to take it on a commercial, global scale...just yet.
