APC Candidate In Rivers asks for bribe refund from INEC officer

Elections in the state have seen widespread violence, most leading to deaths.

A man named Azubuike Nwajoku of the All Progressives Congress has stormed the collation center of the Independent National Electoral Commission, to demand a refund from an INEC officer who he had given bribe to.

According to reports, Nwajoku had paid the officer in order to help facilitate his victory during the just concluded election.

The results apparently didn't go like he wanted. This is why he made the visit to the collation center to get his money.

His presence however caused a commotion in an environment that was mildly quiet before he made an appearance.

It took the efforts of men at the venue to pacify him down and ensure that things stay a bit calm.

The election in Rivers State has been marred in violence, leading to the killings of innocent people. Cult group have been used to harass voters an their communities.

Candidates vying for different position have used their power to intimidate their opponents, mostly using assassination as a tool.
