A criminal who took to Facebook to brag about his prowess in crime has been arrested by the police.
An IT savvy robber, Andrew Hennells, has been picked up quite easily after he boasted about his crime on Facebook.
Hennells was arrested at a nearby pub shortly after stealing money from a branch of Tesco in King's Lynn, UK, reports News Sky.
Before stealing the money, Hennells had bragged about his plans to steal cash from a supermarket just minutes before he was picked up by police.
The 31-year-old who was carrying a knife, was in a nearby pub after walking away with £410 in cash.
He pleaded guilty to robbery and carrying a knife as an offensive weapon when he appeared at Norwich Crown Court.
Sgt. Pete Jessop, from King's Lynn CID said:
"It was a bizarre and unusual case. The pictures and posts on Facebook helped us confirm what we already knew.
None of this takes away from the seriousness of the crime or the trauma experienced by the victims of the robbery."
