The children were reported to have fallen off a roller coaster that malfunctioned while on a Tea Cup ride. The reports indicted the management of the park of negligence and culpable in the death of the children but new facts have emerged on what actually happened that led to the fatal incident.

An eyewitness who was present at the park at the time of the incident, sent this exclusive report to Pulse on what actually went wrong.

"A fatal accident occurred on Monday, 11th July, at about 6pm when a group of children who came for a birthday party went on the coffee cup ride. The children who are were about seven in number, got on the coffee cup machine a while  after a some children who were on excursion got off the ride.

As the group of children were ushered to different cups and they sat down, the machine was switched on by the operator. A couple of seconds after the ride started to spin, some of the children attempted to get off the ride, apparently out of fear.

On realizing this, the operator attempted to get the children to sit down but unfortunately, it was too late. ‎He too got hurt because he stepped on the floor of an already spinning machine.

Out of the panic that ensued, ‎visitors to the park got into the control room and  attempted to stop the ride but apparently increased the speed. At that time some of the children fell off the ride and were badly hurt."

"I also assisted the proprietor with conveying the injured children to the hospital. Sadly, two of the children later died at the hospital.

May their souls rest in perfect peace, and may God give their parents, relatives and friends the grace to bear the huge irreparable loss."
