Woman arrested for murdering fiver babies, storing bodies

A mother has been arrested for murder after allegedly killing her five newborn babies before dumping their bodies in a storage room, police in Japan said.


Emi Wakabayashi, 34, after being accused of killing her children shortly after they were born. Police officers who raided the suspect’s house, found the bodies of four babies in the storage room in Japan.

Wakabayashi was charged with abandoning corpses. During questioning, Wakabayashi allegedly admitted to killing her children and dumping their bodies. The woman told investigators that she gave birth to the five children over the past 9 years.

Wakabayashi lives in the house with her father, younger brother and her eldest son. Police said that they plan to charge Wakabayashi with five counts of murder. Police launched their investigation after a neighbor called to report that the suspect appeared to be pregnant several times over the years, but is never seen with children.
