Man rolls in dog poo to avoid arrest

What length would a person go to avoid arrest? You'd be shocked to know...

People go extra lengths to avoid arrest from the authorities, from speeding off to hostage taking. This man in Pennsylvania has a different plan. Franklin, 45, dropped to the ground and rolled in dog poo to avoid arrest by the police for public drunkenness. He was arrested and taken into custody anyway.

Police in Walkes-Barre told the media that he was spotted when he jumped traffic on Monday night and was believed to be under the influence of drugs and alcohol.

Franklin claimed he was avoiding walking on the faeces on the sidewalk and when the officer tried to arrest him, he could avoid it no longer.

Police say when he was ordered to put his hand behind his back, he simply dropped to the ground and rolled in the faeces.
