Police say man has tried to sell a baby in Manchester city centre, BBC reports.
Man tries to sell baby at public center
A man in Manchester has tried to sell a baby, according to police reports.
The incident happened at about 1.30pm on Sunday in Barton Arcade when a man with a three-month-old girl in a pram approached a member of the public.
A man, aged 28, has been arrested on suspicion of child neglect. Police said the child is safe and well.
Det Insp Liam Boden said: "We will be questioning him in relation to the incident as we try to establish the full circumstances."
