A woman on Monday, February 2 was robbed of her daughter’s placenta at the Agboju area of Lagos.
Robbers snatch placenta from woman
Armed robbers attacked a woman who was returning from the hospital and snatched a bag container her nursing daughter's placenta.
The 60-year-old woman who is simply known as Mrs Onwumere was returning from a private hospital where her daughter had just delivered of a baby boy.
Mrs Onwumere said she was with her daughter’s placenta which she was taking home to dispose of when the two-man robbery gang attacked her.
Mrs Onwumere was at the Agboju market to by ingredients to prepare Pepper Soup for her daughter when the robbers snatched the bag containing her daughter’s placenta, some cash and other valuables.

According to her, the robbers who were on a motorcycle escaped before she could raise any alarm.
