Trailer crushes 5 to death in Delta

According to witnesses, the trailer didn’t stop after killing the victims who were apparently trying to cross the busy expressway.

The Christmas festivities have been ruined for some families in Delta State after a trailer crushed five people in the Umunede community near Asaba, the state capital.

The incident has been confirmed by the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Celestina Kalu who said that the victims’ remains have been taken to the mortuary at the Federal Medical Centre in Asaba.

Security officials in the state are also said to be tracking down the driver of the trailer.
