Woman docked for rubbing pepper on nephew's private part, eyes

An aunt has been arrested for allegedly torturing her nephew and putting pepper in his eyes and private part.

Man gets 1 month jail term.

It was gathered that on June 4, Rasak, a resident of Mafoluku area of the state, applied the freshly grounded pepper to the eyes, private part and also forced her nephew who lives with her, to stoop on a hot stove following a minor offence.

The police prosecutor, Simon Imohnwa, told the court that Razak intentionally caused grievous harm to the 11-year-old boy.

When the charge was read to her, Razak pleaded not guilty and the presiding magistrate, B.O. Osusanmi, granted her bail and adjourned the matter till June 25, for hearing.
