Jealous wife breaks 5-yr-old stepson's arms, leg in Ogun

A jealous woman has been arrested by the Ogun State Police Command for allegedly breaking the arms and leg of her five-year-old stepson.

The young boy whose mother had divorced from his father, was left in Fatimoh's care but according to neighbours, has been maltreating the child at every given opportunity till it got to the point she had to break his arms and leg, with him ending up at the Federal Medical Centre, Idi-Aba, Abeokuta, where he is undergoing treatment.

The incident, according to reports, happened at Onihale village along the old Abeokuta-Lagos Expressway on Thursday, August 11, 2016.

It was neighbours who reported the matter to the police leading to Fatimoh's arrest which was confirmed by the acting Police Public Relations Officer (APPRO), Abimbola Oyeyemi, who said the woman and the boy's father have been detained and would be charged to court soon for child abuse.
