Notorious robber terrorising female students in Nasarawa arrested

A notorious armed robber who has been terrorising female students in a community in Nasarawa State has been arrested by the police.

The suspect, Paul John

The suspect identified as Paul John, was nabbed right in the act while robbing some of the female students by the vigilante group in the area.

His partner in crime whose name he gave as Gambo, a resident of the community, managed to escape arrest.

According to reports, the two bandits were busy robbing female students who live in the area after holding them to ransom at gunpoint before a neighbour heard the commotion from the room and alerted the vigilante operatives who swooped in immediately and arrested John while Gambo fled.

While confessing to his crimes, John said he decided to go into armed robbery when he could not find a job after finishing from school in 2012.
