'My wife sleeps with men she meets on social media' - Husband

A man whose wife has been very active on social media, sleeping with men she meets there wants a divorce.

The 10-year-old marriage between an Ekiti State based business man, Muyiwa Owolabi, and his wife, Tinuola, may be heading for the crash after he dragged the her to an Ado Ekiti Customary Court to seek for a divorce because his wife committed series of adultery with several men she met on the social media like Facebook, Badoo and Whatsapp.

According to Owolabi, he could no longer live with the woman because he had caught her many times with several men including his junior at secondary school, and therefore wants out of the marriage that has produced two children.

He further said that Tinuola uses the social media platforms to connect with many men and she goes ahead to sleep with the men, telling the court that he had the printouts of the adulterous communications and pictures, including private ones where she and the men recorded pictures of their private parts and other amorous messages.

He tendered in court the printouts of an alleged compromising pictures on WhatsApp, and conversation with one Toyin Igbalajobi, a Lagos-based man whom he said connected her with men in Lagos and the NOKIA C3 with which he carried out the act were admitted by the court president, Joseph Ogunsemi and marked as exhibits.

Owolabi also told the court that he caught his wife with one Benson Onyechere, his junior at Christ’s School, Ado Ekiti, who usually speak with her on phone but when he caught her, she replaced Benson’s name with a supposedly female name, ‘Bola’ to hide her lover’s identity.

He further told the court that another Facebook lover is one Taiwo Oyetunji whom she claimed she met on the social media platform on March 27, 2012, while another Facebook lover, one Alaba Sunday Samson had the effrontery of coming to their matrimonial home to visit Tinuola.

He identified other men his wife had amorous relationship with to include Aduloju Olu and Andy Harris who are based overseas, Yinka Daramola and Kunle Lawal and Bashir.
