Just trust me ok

Are you one of those Nigerians who think living conditions in the country is rough, tough and harsh? Are you he or she that would not mind daring the scorching desert sun, the dangerous animals that abide there in, the treacherous routes to Libya, Morocco and other North African countries, the hazardous waters of the ocean, all in a bid to travel to Europe? Do not worry your head any longer. Be happy because your darling father, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan is putting everything in place to make sure you enjoy your country.

Are you contemplating all the lands your father left behind so as to acquire a fake passport and scamper away to Malaysia, Azerbaijan, Vietnam, China, Thailand and Singapore to hustle, not minding any kind of menial job? Hey bro, stay put and join hands in building your country, after all, GEJ is putting a lot of things in place to make joblessness a thing of the past. Or did you not see the number of applicant last week vying for employment into the Immigration service? Forget the few unlucky ones who died o. They were just careless jare, according to Interior Minister, Abba Moro. The man is doing everything possible to create jobs, though some enemies of progress are trying to truncate his efforts.

Don’t worry man, be happy. The country is on point in security matters. They are on top of the matter. Just forget that every day, thousands are sent to their early graves. Do not mind those useless Boko people. GEJ will soon deal with the senseless idiots. He is trying to build a Nigeria we can all be proud of but those mumu guys are spoiling it for us. That was the reason he was angry and still went ahead with the Centenary Celebrations where billions of naira was spent on the jamboree, even with some innocent school children’s blood still to dry. If Boko thought Johnny boy would postpone the celebration because of their nonsense, they miscalculated. Tough man, he is!

Don’t worry brothers and sisters, the country is working. It is only those without eyes who do not see. Okay, tell me, if there is steady power supply, how would you know they are working? You would go to sleep, forgetting to patronize generator sellers and the few filling stations that hoard fuel. Hey guys, be patriotic and help our business men to stay in business. But the way, what are you going to do with light sef? It is not as if you are productive and will use it for something important. Is it not to just watch Africa Magic movies?

Why are you guys not applauding this GEJ for all the things he has done? Oh, you complain that the roads are now death traps. Before nko! What were they supposed to be? See, something must kill a man, whether it be accident on bad roads or witches from your village. You will die one day, so why worry? Just be happy that he is speeding your time for you.

You say he is condoning corruption and I ask you; how is it so? Did he institutionalize it? By the way, how much has been stolen, sorry, ‘collected’ during his tenure? Just because Stella Oduah bought two ‘armoured tanks’ for a mere 255 million, you are making noise. I know you are listening to that Sanusi Lamido Sanusi man who came out with his loud mouth claiming 20 billion dollars, 36 billion dollars, 6 billion dollars and some other petty money were not seen. Let me ask you, how much is that by the way? Chicken feed! Be happy my paddies.

Nigeria is working and will work very soon after GEJ and his team of destroyers, sorry, I meant to say egg heads, finish tinkering with the country. Just give him four more years and see the wonders he is going to perform. Don’t forget the 492 ancient wise men and women he has gathered together to fiddle with your future at the National Confab. They are going to do a lot of damage control and make sure their hard earned 12 million naira does not go to waste. Forget if many of them will spend the duration sleeping. Don’t forget that better ideas are gotten during sleep.

So don’t worry, be happy.
