Just one year after she bombed into a photo shoot that catapulted her life into a supermodel, former bread seller gives thanks to God and her mentors.
But fortune smiled on her when she ran into a musical video shoot directed by celebrity photographer, TY Bello who immediately saw the potential of a model in her and the rest like they say, is history.
Today Orisaguna is an accomplished model and polished motivational speaker who has become an inspiration to many.
On the first year of her magical transformation, the bread seller turned model takes a reflection on the amazing year in which she has seen her life taking a turn for the better where she has gone from a street hawker to a model with different endorsement deals.
She took to her Instagram account to reminisce on the past one year of her stardom:
"I woke up this morning feeling very emotional; it’s been one year already since God used aunty TY to turn my story around. It’s been one year since all of you accepted me, gave me a chance and celebrated me like I was born to be part of this system.
I look back to January 1st, 2016, and realize where my life was and what my priorities were, but January 2017 was different for my family and me.
It is still like a dream to me at times and I can only say THANK YOU JESUS AND THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HAS BEEN A PART OF THIS PROCESS: my supporters, colleagues, fans, critics, my role models: God bless you all & grant your heart desires.
I will continue working on myself and try not to disappoint all those that believe in me. Please bear with my mistakes and inadequacies and keep praying for me.
There are nights when my husband and I wake up to pray for you all without knowing you and we end up in tears… We appreciate you and we love you all.
