A mother of six in Lagos, Omowunmi Oluwadamilare, has pleaded with an Orile-Agege Appeal COurt to dissolve her marriage over drunkenness, battery from her husband, Abiodun.

“My husband comes home drunk every night; he jumps on me when I am already asleep and makes love to me.Because of this, I have given birth to six children. He does not provide for their children, neither does he pay their school fees.I provide for them and even pay house rent,” the 35-year-old woman lamented.

She also said she had told him to pack his belongings and leave the house but he had turned a deaf ear.

Abiodun was seen nowhere near the court making it the fifth time he had refused to appear in court. The Court President, Mr Adegboyega Omilola, told Omowunmi to maintain the peace. He also ordered the court bailiff to serve Abiodun the court summons again.
