A 38-year-old Nigerian man, Olaoluwa Ibrahim, has been sentenced to prison by the Central Criminal Court in London, for the June, 2014, rape and robbery of a woman he attacked in Central London, reports Mail Online.

While sentencing Ibrahim, the presiding judge also ruled that after serving his prison term, he will be deported back to Nigeria.

According to the prosecution, the victim was on her way back from an outing with her friends in Central London when Ibrahim vicious attacked her and raped her before stealing her phone.

The report states that after the lady left her friends, she got on a greyhound bus which took her to a distance close to her house and she got down and was walking home when Ibrahim approached her from the back and tried to chat her up.

But the lady completely ignored him, an action which incensed him and he grabbed her and pushed her into a dark driveway and forcefully raped her.

Not yet done, Ibrahim snatched her phone and ran away while the victim managed to drag herself home and contacted the police.

Cops were able to trace the culprit by tracing the call logs he made to the woman's new phone and he was apprehended.

Ibrahim initially denied raping the woman but after a test was carried out, it was discovered that his DNA matched the one found on the victim's clothes as well as his semen which matched the one found in her private part.

That was when he confessed to the raping the victim but denied stealing her phone but in the court, Ibrahim pleaded guilty to rape and theft.
