Baby Nathan needs our support to live
The family of a newborn baby suffering from a heart defect is in dire need of financial assistance to fly him to India for a surgery. Please help.
The little baby, Nathaniel Temitope Ayeni, who was born on March 27, 2017, needs to undergo a heart surgery in India after he was diagnosed with an ailment called TAPVC (mixed), moderate sixe restrictive Secundum ASD L-R Shunt, Mild Valvar PS, RV Dysfunction and Severe PAH.
His uncle, Oluwaseun with the Twitter handle @oluwaseun_noble, took to his account to solicit for help for the infant:
"I, @oluwaseun_noble, write to seek your support to help save the life of, my little nephew. He is just 2 months and 13 days today. He needs a heart surgery in India ASAP.
We will appreciate the support of kind-hearted Nigerians to help with their resources, finances, and prayers.
The father, my cousin's account is as follows:
Ayeni Olakunle Moses
GTB
Account number: 0052579997
No amount is considered too much or small.
The baby has been on oxygen for survival but we were advised to take him out of the hospital environment to avoid him contracting another viral disease having stabilized him after he was rushed to the hospital in an emergency.
Hence, he will not have access to oxygen again thereby being highly exposed till we are able to raise Ten Million Naira (N10,000,000) for the surgery. Doctors have advised that we ensure the surgery is done before the baby is 3 months. All my claims are verifiable as the medical report from LASUTH is available.
I appeal and solicit for your help and support in any way you can and deem fit. Here attached is a photo of the boy and father in children emergency ward LASUTH.
Thank you and God bless you abundantly as you join the race in saving Nathaniel's life."
The family has also set up a GoFundMe account for public spirited Nigerians, corporate bodies and government agencies to help them.
The GoFundMe message read:
'Baby Nathaniel was born on 26th of March, 2017. He has been diagnosed with an ailment called TAPVC(?mixed), Moderate sixe restrictive Secundum ASD L-R Shunt, Mild Valvar PS, RV Dysfunction, Severe PAH.
This condition has led to a shortage of oxygen to his system causing him to turn blue and also resulting in a conspicuous dark coloring in his mouth; a hint that his system is shutting down.
We have been advised that a major surgical operation is paramount before he turns 3-months-old. We have started making plans to fly him to India for the surgical procedure; we kindly solicit your financial assistance in raising the funds necessary for the trip and the medical bills.
Every dollar counts.
Please help us save our Nathaniel.
We have set up the links below to help raise the money for transparency purposes.'

God bless you as you do so.
