Amputee OAP makes it to the top of Olumo Rock

A physically challenged On Air Personality has shown that with determination, one can achieve anything by climbing to the top of Olumo Rock.

Adenike Oyetunde has shown that there is ability in disability

The presenter finally fulfilled her lifelong dream of climbing to the top of the Rock which stands at a height of 137 meters above sea level.

Oyetunde who has one of her legs amputated, posted photos and videos of her triumphant climb to the top of the Rock located in Abeokuta, Ogun State declaring that she has finally fulfilled her dream.

In the clip shared on her Instagram, Oyetunde, a presenter with Nigeria Info FM, is seen screaming out in delight, saying she never expected to ever complete that tedious climb due to her physical disability but refused to be held back by the fact that she has one functional leg.

“If only you can understand what it means to me; I did it! This year, I break everything in my mind. I’m here feeling good,” Oyetunde who is also a cancer survivor, wrote in the post.

The post which elicited heartwarming reactions from her fans and friends followed Oyetunde’s story especially her tenacious dedication to her job as an On-Air Personality.

“Do you know how many times Nike met obstacles on her way to the top of this rock?” One friend wrote while another added:

“This woman hiked up Olumo rock like this, today. Look at the photo again and let that sink in. She reached the peak of the rock.”

An Instagram user with the handle Zanyfran also eulogized the feat achieved by Oyetunde thus:

"She reached the peak of the rock, abi na mountain. Nikita if I talk now, you will see I'm being too deep, so Imma chill  . But let me say this, you incredible woman: thank you for letting us see that impossible is NOTHING.
