Comedian's take on domestic violence: 'If you have stayed on for a month, enjoy it'

Comedian Ali Baba says if you stay in an abusive relationship, then you must be enjoying it.

In the last few months, domestic violence has been on the increase with a lot of deaths recorded in the process. Many women have lost their lives in the hands of their husbands while men too have been murdered by their wives during fights.

This issue has drawn a lot of talking point with more people coming out to talk about being abused. Many Nigerian celebrities standing up for domestic violence including the likes of actress Stella Damasus.

The most vocal supporter of the fight is Nigeria's number one comedian, Ali Baba, real name Atunyota Alleluya Akporobomerere, who took to his twitter account to bare his mind on domestic violence.

In his usually funny way, he says anyone who stays in an abusive relationship must be enjoying it.
