The recent war, according to a Facebook user who has been monitoring the development, Edwin Afejuku, happened when one of the factions stormed the secretariat of the party in Asaba and locked up the gate with a padlock painted in red.

In front of the gate was assorted juju paraphernalia including a calabash containing eggs, white native chalks and red pieces of clothes  and a coffin with the inscription: 'APC: RIP'

This is how Afejuku captured the scene:

"The gate to Delta Failed APC Secretarial at Asaba under locked with a padlock painted with red colour, in addition, a calabash containing eggs, white native chalk tied with red pieces was also at the front gate. This is as a result of the party crisis.

Delta APC dead on arrival."
