2 brothers nabbed for abducting, killing 10-yr-old boy
Two blood brothers have been arrested in Borno State after they kidnapped a 10-year-old boy and murdered him when parents could not pay a ransom.
According to Nigeria Politics, the brothers who are suspected to be Boko Haram members had allegedly abducted the boy identified as Baa Goni Maina in Maiduguri, the state capital, on January 14, 2017.
After kidnapping the boy, the suspects called his father and demanded the sum of N10 million as ransom but the boy's father told them the family could only raise N500, 000 which they bluntly turned down, threatening to kill the boy if they did not get the money.
And true to their words, they murdered the innocent child and dumped his corpse at a graveyard on the outskirts of the town.
They were later arrested by the police from the Special Intelligence Response Team in synergy with the Technical Intelligence Unit, who tracked Modu to a hideout and arrested him.

He later led the operatives to his brother's location where he was also arrested. During interrogation, Modu reportedly said that Adamu killed their young victim by stabbing him several times in the stomach the boy knew them and could report him to the authorities if released.
