In the final hours of December 24, 2019, Nigerian superstar, Wizkid took took to his Twitter page to say some 'wild' things.
He talked about getting married next year and making his "wives" unite. Most importantly, he says after he releases his eagerly-anticipated album, 'Made In Lagos,' he will change his name from 'Wizkid'
He wrote, "After Made in Lagos! I’m giving y’all one last album as Wizkid ." For the better part of two years, Wizkid has been talking about his fourth studio album. His status, fan base and conversation have made the album the most-anticipated Nigerian album for a while.
2020 will mark the start of Wizkid's journey into veteran status - his legend is already sealed. A lot of artists have changed their name as they have aged. The most notable of that bunch of 2baba Idibia who changed his name from 2Face.
