Pick of the week: De PartyAnimals + Majeed = Body Kontroller

Moment of the week: Majeed's performance on 'Body Kontroller'

Here are the inductees for this week;

Yang 21 - Jealous

On Wizkid/Runtown-esque vibes, Yang 21 is a jealous lover. Yang 21 is a dynamic artiste who has been delivering good music since last year. ‘JEALOUS’ serves as a gem from his treasure box. ‘JEALOUS’ is a sequel to his recent EP, ‘GOOSEBUMPS’, a mid-tempo, rhythmic and sensational song that compels its listener’s delight in a way that tugs at their heartstrings. It follows with the theme of love and romance prevalent in the EP.

’JEALOUS’ paints a picture of two lovers, aware of the jealous onlookers but show off their love. This sweet melody will teach listeners to value their relationship with their partners.

Mistr Deuce - Ghost

No, DJ Mustard or LVM and Nasty didn't produce this ratchet sound, it was made in Lagos, Nigeria. Mistr Deuce is a combination of grimy and confident as he uses the symbolism of 'Ghost' to build themes of wealth, presence and presence of mind.

Tsuni - Anymore

Lile a mumble rapper, Tsuni glides and chooses the most flimsy part of her promissory hook for title. She promises to go hard and never fizzle hard.

Antoine - Destiny

Antoine sounds like equal parts alte, equal parts R&B. But that doesn't really matter, what matters is this alluring sound which travels straight into the depth of souls. It's a tale of heartbreak and the sombre tunes convey those emotions.

DysleX - Sphere

Fresh off producing on Chike's new EP Dance of The Booless, DysleX lands on this countdown with in 2019 EDM sound. Enjoy this one.

Faem + 22 = Highway

Off their EP, QMB is this song. Sitting pretty at track three, this AfroEDM duo enlist the help of 22 for this tale of love and providence.

De PartyAnimals + Majeed = Body Kontroller

Off their impressive EP, Wild Nights sits this deftly produced AfroEDM number about the sexual prowess of a faceless, nameless woman. Majeed, take a bow mate.

Milly Wine + Dice Ailes = Run Up

Milly Wine sounds like an angel, but this track is anything but angelic. It's about the moves a woman makes on him. Dice Ailes is the perfect featured act for this.

Idris Lawal + Jelani Watson + Sydnee Croft = Omoge

On the review for his album, Young, Black and Blue, Pulse Nigeria describes Idris Lawal's 'Omoge' as, "‘Omoge’ is a neo-soul track which sees Lawal as a well-meaning lover with a certainty towards the future."

'Chukwuebuka' is a song of thanksgiving to the Lord for every thing he's done. Omalicha just wants us to count our blessings, name them one by one and it will surprise us what the Lord has done.
