Record label planning to dump two acts?

It seems that Iyanya's label imprint might be two taking acts off its roaster less than a year after releasing the group's album.

There are strong rumours that Nigerian record label Made Men Music Group popularly known as Triple MG owned by music talent manager Ubi Franklin, and pop act Iyanya might be dropping two artistes from it's imprint.

No one knows which acts on the label will be giving their marching orders, but the top bosses of the label are planning to shake up the label by doing away with the artistes they regard as dead weight, sources tell Pulse.

Made Men Music Group was formed in 2011 with Iyanya as its first act. Female singer Emma Nyra joined the label in 2012, while Baci, Tekno, and Selebobo signed to the imprint in early 2014.

A compilation album titled The Evolution featuring all the acts on the label was released in 2014.
