Who Will Win The 2014 BET Awards? Full List Of Nominees

The BET Award Nominations list have been released, and 2 Nigerian artistes, Tiwa Savage & Davido, will go up against themselves for the much-coveted ‘Best International Act:Africa’ Category.

Tiwa Savage had a stellar 2014, putting out her debut album titled ‘Once Upon A Time’, with the hit song, ‘Eminado’ topping charts. Davido also has had an amazing 365 days, with repeated hit songs such as ‘Gobe’, ‘Skelewu’, ‘Aye’, and others leading him to the pinnacle of African entertainment.

Tiwa and Davido were nominated alongside South Africa’s Mafikizolo, Sarkodie of Ghana, Toofan of Togo and Diamond Platnumz of Tanzania.

Jay Z and Beyonce are leading with more nominations in the music category. Also Nigerian-British actor, Chiwetel Ejiofor and his 12 Years a Slave co-star Lupita Nyong’o also scored nominations in Best Actor and Best Actress categories respectively. The award ceremony will take place on Sunday 29th June 2014.
