''I think I'm going to drop my third album this year. I dropped an EP 'Sugar Cane' last year and I think it's time for another album. And I have a lot of songs and material that I don't want to go to waste.

So, I think I'm going to drop an album this year. I am trying not to put too many featured artists on it because I did with my last album. I want to try and keep it just me and be more daring music wise, be more bold.'' She said.

On her deal with Roc nation

In 2016, Tiwa Savage signed a management deal with Jay-Z's Roc Nation company and she confirms that the deal is still on.

''My deal with Roc Nation is management, Mavin is still my record company that I am signed to, they work together, they complement each other pretty well.

I know he's working on his album and I've just decided that I want to put out an album. So we're just waiting for the right time to feed the public. Because whenever we put out music it gets so much attention.

But trust me, we have 'Ma Lo' x200 percent. We have great music that we've recorded that's coming soon.''

Following the release of Ciara's recent single, 'Freak Me' which features Tekno, there have been a lot of online controversy with many asking if the American superstar got the clearance to sample Tiwa's record and she clears the air on the issue.

''I love the fact that she picked that song. It wasn't one of the most popular songs from the 'RED' album. But it was definitely one of my favourites.

I love her version; and Tekno...I'm a huge fan of his. He definitely killed it. I think it's gonna do really well.'', the singer concluded.
