Singer plays queen of the carnival in ‘African waist’ featuring Don Jazzy

Tiwa Savage stays surprising her fans. First came the unexpected announcement of her second album R.E.D, and then came the album listening party.

Now the ‘Eminado’ crooner has released the first music video for a song off her latest project. The track titled ‘African waist’ features Mavin Records boss Don Jazzy who also produced the song.

The vibrant video was shot in South Africa two weeks ago. It portrays Tiwa Savage as the Queen of the carnival. Meanwhile Don Jazzy brings some humour to the video by playing the role of a fitness instructor.

‘African waist’ is a cheerful fusion of soul calypso and afrobeat.

Tiwa’s R.E.D album made its debut on December 21, 2015. It is currently available for streaming on MTN music+.
