Singer to release debut album, October 2015

Shay’s album will be released on October 23, 2015, with a number of collaborations planned.

Seyi Shay will release her debut album this year.

The singer has over worked hard over the past year, releasing singles such as ‘Murda’, ‘Ragga Ragga’, ‘Crazy’, and most recently, ‘Jangilova’. Shay’s album will be released on October 23, 2015.

She made this declaration during an interview on Beat FM’s talk show, ‘Morning Rush’ to hosts Osi and Maria.

“My album is almost ready and it’ll drop on October 23, 2015.” Seyi Shay disclosed when asked about the album. “ I’ve been going back and forth working with producers in Los Angeles and Nigeria”.

The new album which is untitled, also features a number of international collaborations, and on the local scene, Wizkid, Patoranking, Timaya and Shaydee, are certain names to make the LP.

“Yea, there’s plan for some international collaborations but I don’t want to spill names yet so I don’t jinx it, but for sure there’s Wizkid, Patoranking, Shaydee, Timaya and others on it.”
