Seun Kuti's third album is heralded as one of the best global music albums in 2014.

Seun Kuti's latest album A Long Way To The Beginning has been hailed by online magazine NPR as one of the "best global music of 2014".

According to the writer, Anastasia Tsioulcas, Seun Kuti has hit his stride. She says he has matured into a first-rate saxophonist who sings about "financial corruption, racism and political vice, not just in his native Nigeria, but wherever he sees them festering globally."
