2015 looks pretty good for the Nigerian dance hall sensation Patoranking, as he recently signed a distribution deal with VP records, one of the world's biggest reggae music imprints.

The singer announced this on his Instagram page on February 9, 2015 with a picture of himself signing the papers with the label executives with a caption that read quote: Foston Musik/Vp Records. God is great. Impossible is nothing#whayasay."

VP records was founded in 1979, and it boasts of up to fifty musical acts, a lot of them huge names on the international music scene like Sean Paul, Buju Banton, Gyptian, Beenie Man, and  Mavado.

There seems to be a birth of dance-hall in Nigerian music with the likes of Cynthia Morgan, Endia, Yung L and the likes steadily rising.

Seeing how Patoranking has been making waves since he  broke into the music industry in 2013 with his hit singleAlubarika, even winning the award for the Next rated act at the Headies 2014, a deal like this serves as a testament to his talent and all the hard work put into his music.
