Rapper launches satellite radio channel 'Globalization'

The channel will be free of adverts, commercials and will feature predominantly Pitbull's song and collaborations. Live performances and exclusive mix shows will also be played on the channel.

Pitbull gets ready for reality TV

Rapper Pitbull has launched his own satellite radio station on the SiriusXM platform. The satellite radio channel is called Globalization named after his most recent album.

The channel will be free of adverts, commercials and will feature predominantly Pitbull's song and collaborations. Live performances and exclusive mix shows will also be played on the channel.

Globalization's partnership structure mirrors the relationship SiriusXM has with acts such as Bruce Springsteen, Ozzy Osbourne, Pearl Jam, Eminem, Willie Nelson, Tiesto and Neil Diamond.

To celebrate the creation of his own satellite radio channel, Pitbull will perform at a an invite-only concert at Apollo Theater in Harlem, New York on May 19.

Of course, the event will be streamed live on Globalization, officially launching the channel the same day.
