The 41-year-old music maker is most defintely taking a lot happiness into 2015!

Pharrell Williams is sure to remain in a happy mood after his hit song, "Happy" claimed the number one spot on Billboard's most popular hits of 2014, as well as Facebook's list for top songs of the year.

The 41-year-old music maker, who received a star on the Walk of Fame in Los Angeles on December 4, defeated big stars like Sam Smith, John Legend and Iggy Azalea to cling the double top spot.

The upbeat jam was written as part of the soundtrack for Despicable Me 2, the sequel to the 2010 animated film which Pharrell also worked on.

'I’m the luckiest dude there is,' the singer told MTV News in June of his experience scoring the films, 'They never needed to afford me the opportunity. Not once, but twice. What’s better than that? And you know I just feel like the universe is in a place where our species are just supposed to be happy and smiling again.'
