On July 4, 2020, Nigerian star, Mr Eazi announced that his long-time collaborator and Nigerian music producer, E Kelly has been named the new Head of Music at his company, emPawa Africa.

What is emPawa Africa?

In July 2019, Mr Eazi announced emPawa Africa, a publishing, distribution and label services company for African artists. The company has already done great things in its first two artist searches.

The platform was created to showcase African talent, and serve as springboard for artists and their careers. While over 100 acts have already been posted on the program's YouTube page, and one of them is Joeboy.

Motolani Alake Motolani is the Managing Editor of Pulse. A trained Lawyer, who has worked in Law practice, humanitarian aid and corporate finance, he is a voice in - African - pop culture, entertainment, entertainment tech and sports. He is also a Liverpool fan.
