Following the success of his seven track album series, Kanye West will be travelling to Chicago to work with Chance The Rapper on his new album.
In a space of five weeks, Kanye West put out 5 albums solely produced by him and containing seven songs each, with each project enjoying different levels of success.
Starting with Pusha T's 'Daytona' album to his 'Ye' project, the joint project with Kid Cudi, 'Kids See Ghost', Nas's 'Nasir' album and the final project in the series, Teyana Taylor's 'Keep The Same Energy', which however contained an extra track.
The next artist in line to receive the seven-track album treatment is Chance The Rapper, who confirmed in a recent interview on HotNewHipHop, that Kanye will be heading down to his hometown of Chicago, where they will record the project.
"Working under him, working with him on his albums is crazy, but having him tell me that he wants to produce my album and come to Chicago is like... This month, we're working in Chicago," said Chance.
In an earlier interview, the rapper had stated, "I'm gonna do a seven track with Ye,"... "Kanye's my favorite rapper that I followed, you know, without knowing for a long time, and Donald Glover's the first rapper that ever was like, you know, 'Come on tour with me, I like your shit that no one's ever heard of''.
The two have previously worked together in the past as Kanye West featured on Chance The Rapper's ''All We Got'' single of his Coloring Book album in 2016 and was one of those who stood up in defense of Kanye following his controversial tweets on President Donald Trump earlier in the year.
