Emerging singer shares 'Play like play' video

The music video was shot in London and Directed by Vertex who has also directed videos for Fuse ODG, Patoranking, Tinie Tempah and more.

 

Award-winning UK-born Nigerian artist, dancer and actor, and 2009 ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ winner as part of popular dance group Diversity, Ike Chuks, is proud to release his brand new Afrobeats single titled ‘Play Like Play’. Premiered and championed by DJ Edu on BBC 1Xtra and DJ Neptizzle on Reprezent Radio, ‘Play Like Play’ is out on iTunes Now.

With six UK and Ireland tours including three arena tours, plus performances at Wireless Festival, T4 On The Beach, and the MOBO Awards, all under his belt as a member of Diversity, Ike Chuks has also starred in British 3D film ‘StreetDance’, while his early forays into music, have received support from the likes of BBC 1Xtra and Kiss TV, among other UK tastemakers.

Ike Chuks’ new single ‘Play Like Play’ is the first official Afrobeats single from the Nigerian entertainer. The music video was shot in London and Directed by Vertex who has also directed videos for Fuse ODG, Patoranking, Tinie Tempah and more. Produced by TwoSeven, who has worked with the likes of Tinie Tempah and Stormzy, ‘Play Like Play’ is an infectious rap track, which sees Ike Chuks in confident mode, as he speaks of his life journey to success, while offering inspiration for his listeners to chase their dreams.
