"I Am A Strict & Church Mom" – Waje

Singer Waje is quite the mother to her 15 year old child, Emerald. She talks to Pulse.ng on how she keeps things ticking between them,

If ever you've wondered how Waje would be as your Mom, then here's something to expect if you ever get that pleasure. She will be strict.

The amazing singer, revealed this fact during a chat with Pulse.ng, stating that she's handles her 15 year old daughter, Emerald, in a strict way, and also is a big fan of Christian upbringing.

'I am strict, I am a church Mom, I'm a cool Mom sometimes. I'm all that and more.

'I take from how my Mom brought me up and my interaction with a lot of young people today to now know how to train my kid. I'm balanced, and I'm still learning, because there's no perfect mother.'

When I get back from work, and I'm very tired, my daughter used to say, 'Mummy kiss', and I'll dismiss it, and she'll say 'Mummy you are not even romantic', so you now know the kind of person I am'.

Waje believes she has laid the basic framework for her daughter to thrive as a woman, but also admits that she is still in the learning process.

“I'm still learning, but fundamentally, there are certain foundations that I have laid, and those foundations are the things that will make her become the woman that she's supposed to be.”
