Singer plays ringleader in new gothic video for 'Tonight'

The 'Shayo' master's new video appears to have a cryptic and covert militia undertone to it.

After a one-year hiatus, Babalola Gabriel aka Bigiano gets back in the game with a video for his latest release titled ‘Tonight’. The music video for his song was directed by Fanon Kabwe and Tim Drabandt and filmed in Cape Town, South Africa.

The clip appears to have a cryptic and covert militia undertone to it. The gothic setting embodies elements of African culture such as a native doctor, traditional horns, a drum player, and warriors. It almost appears as though there's some kind of battle going on in the video. Whatever it is, at the end of the video they all gather together below Bigiano who stands on an elevated platform.

South African producer Marcus Pululu produced ‘Tonight’. Nigerian producer Sheyman also provided additional drum beats for the upbeat song.

Bigiano gained popularity in 2009 with his hit-song 'Shayo'. With his new 2015 release, it's clear that he is passing across a message to his fans and peers in the music industry - Bigiano is back! Listen and watch his latest offering here!
