Ava who is an American film director, producer, and screenwriter, tweeted the news on Tuesday, February 20, doing little to hide her excitement.

She stated that Sade's role in the movie was a dream come true, describing the veteran singer as a goddess.

Ava also reportedly recruited Sia as well as 'Game of Thrones' Composer, Ramin Djawadi, for the movie's soundtrack, and it is set to include more original tunes from Kehlani, DJ Khaled and Demi Lovato, Chloe and Halle, and FreeStyle Fellowship.

A Wrinkle in Time

The movie which is an adaptation of the science fantasy novel written by American writer, Madeleine L'Engle.

The book was first published in 1962 and won the Newbery Medal, Sequoyah Book Award, and Lewis Carroll Shelf Award.

It was also the runner-up for the Hans Christian Andersen Award.

According to Wikipedia, it is the first book in L'Engle's Time Quintet, which follows the Murry and O'Keefe, families.

The book has reportedly spawned two film adaptations, both by Disney in form of a 2003 television film of the same name, and a theatrical film adaptation, directed by Ava DuVernay, starring Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon, Mindy Kaling, Storm Reid, Zach Galifianakis, and Chris Pine.

The movie is scheduled for release in the United States in March 9, 2018.
