Jet Li, Tony Jaa, Deepika Padukone to join Vin Diesel for sequel

The original "XXX" was released in 2002, and starred Diesel as Xander Cage, a former extreme sports athlete, notorious for his death-defying public stunts.

According to The Twitch, some top names would be joining the cast of the upcoming sequel "xXx: The Return of Xander Cage."

According to the site, actor and martial arts Jet Li, Tony Jaa, and Bollywood top star Deepika Padukone, will be joining Vin Diesel and Samuel L Jackson in the sequel.

The original "xXx" which was released in 2002, was a box office success. The film starred Diesel as Xander Cage, a former extreme sports athlete, notorious for his death-defying public stunts.

Betting he can succeed where other conventional spies have failed, Xander is recruited by NSA Agent Gibbons (Samuel L. Jackson) to become a different kind of undercover agent.
