Not one, but two, count 'em two, X-Men series could be coming to television soon.

Bryan Singer

Marvel is co-producing for Fox and for FX, with X-Men film franchise helmer Bryan Singer executive producing on both of them, Variety reports.

Let's start with Legion, which reportedly already has a pilot order and is being written by Fargowriter/creator, Noah Hawley.

According to The Hollywood Reporter:

The Legion pilot introduces the story of David Haller, a man who may be more than human and who has has struggled with mental illness since his teenage years. Diagnosed as schizophrenic, David has been in and out of psychiatric hospitals for years. But after a strange encounter with a fellow patient, he’s confronted with the possibility that the voices he hears and the visions he sees might be real. In the comics, David is the son of X-Men founder and Israeli Holocost survivor Gabrielle Haller.

It remains unknown whether Singer, who is directing the upcoming Xmen: Apocalypse, is thinking of any sort of tie-in between the films and TV shows, but the possibilities are quite strong.
