Fox is making a TV series with Bryan Singer as director

To be directed by Singer, the untitled adventure series will focus on two ordinary parents who discover their children possess mutant powers. Forced to go on the run from a hostile government, the family joins up with an underground network of mutants and must fight to survive.

The upcoming TV series is the first co-production of 20th Century Fox Television and Marvel Television. Fox has had success in the DC comic book genre with “Gotham” and “Lucifer.”

The latest "X-Men" movie titled "X-Men: Apocalypse" was released on May 27, 2016. The ninth installment in the X-Men film series, "Apocalypse" is currently the third-highest-grossing film in the series, following "Deadpool" and "X-Men: Days of Future Past."
There have been no further details on the upcoming TV series which just received a pilot order from Fox.
