In June, Who Wants to be a Millionaire host, Frank Edoho, announced a temporary break after MTN Nigeria withdrew their sponsorship.

Produced by Ultima Limited, MTN took over sponsorship of the TV show in 2006, making it bigger by doubling the prize money from five million naira to 10 million naira.

On the show,  large cash prizes are offered for correctly answering a series of multiple-choice questions of increasing difficulty, with three lifelines presented to the contestants at the beginning of the game - 50/50, Phone a friend and ask the audience.

On September 11, 2009, a contestant named Aroma Ufodike became the first and only person to win the 10 million naira prize.

It hasn't been confirmed if Frank Edoho,  who has hosted the show since it made its debut, will return as the host.

Ultima had shared the good news with Edoho in the copy. However, when he was asked about his return, he simply said, "host will be revealed to you soon."
