Confirming her demise to Sky Trend News, Tony Akposheri, who played Zaccheus in the TV series said, "Yes, it is true that Veronica Njoku is dead."
The late Njoku was popular for role as Jegede's wife in "New Masquerade" - a Nigerian sitcom that aired on the Nigerian Television Network on Monday nights in the early 90s.
