"I think I would say that it's one of my most challenging characters yet" - Ufuoma McDermott on being Mama Amin in "Wives on Strike."

Describing the character as her most challenging yet, Ufuoma said there's a big difference between Mama Amina and Ufuoma.

"First, I must commend the producers for the movement, like that is what it has become truth be told. Mama Amina [character in movie] is one of the most subdued characters I have ever played in my life."
"Mama Amina is so far-fetched from Ufuoma that it took so much from me to leave myself and become her. Mama Amina had so many points that were valid, and she was so subdued that she couldn't drive home those points the way Ufuoma would."
"I'm very passionate, and if you see me driving home a point about things that I'm passionate about, I give it my all. Mama Amina couldn't do that because of the kind of the woman she is, and the kind of home she was born into, and the kind of home she had been married into, and so she was a subdued character.
"I think I would say that it's one of my most challenging characters yet."
