Actor takes the role of heroic pilot in new flick

The movie, which is based on Sully’s 2009 book, Highest Duty: My Search for What Really Matters, sees Hanks taking up the plum part of the movie.

Hollywood actor, Tom Hanks has completed plans to take up the role of a heroic pilot in a yet to be titled movie by Clint Eastwood.

According to reports, Hanks is gearing up to take role as Capt. Chesley 'Sully' Sullenberger, the heroic pilot who guided US Airways Flight 1549 to safety on the Hudson River in January 2009.

The movie, which is based on Sully’s 2009 book, , sees Hanks taking up the plum part of the movie.

It is further reported that the 85-years old Eastwood is also taking the position of the producer for the movie after his success with
