The final episode of the season, which will air on Sunday, August 27, 2017, has a title that has got social media reeling.
According to HBO, the episode, which will be the longest yet, is titled "The Dragon and the Wolf.” The episode will clock in at 79 minutes and 43 seconds.
Fans got excited about the title and are suggesting that the dragon refers to House Targaryen, while the wolf refers to House Stark.
Just like season six finale, the upcoming episode is expected to reveal more about Jon's parentage. Fans already know that Jon Snow isn't Ned Stark's bastard, but Lyanna Stark's son with Rhaegar Targaryen.
With Bran in Winterfell and Sam headed North, the revelation is bound to happen.
According to the teaser for the episode (watch below) there would be big reunions happening in King's Landing - Brienne and Jaime, Cersei and Tyrion, and the anticipated The Hound and Mountain reunion.
The episode will see Jon, Daenerys and other major characters converge on King's Landing to plead with Cersei to join the war against White Walkers.
"There's only one war that matters. And it is here," Jon Snow says at the gathering.
Also, you can expect the death of a major character in the finale episode, after all, it's "Game of Thrones" - a show popular for its evil streak.
