4 reasons you should binge-watch Lowladee's web series
Now that the first season of "This is It" is over, Tuesdays are back to being just a day for some TV lovers.
"This is It" follows the first year journey of the young clueless newlyweds Dede and Tomide, how they adjust living together, dealing with friends and a little drama.
The first season which came to an end on November 23, 2016, focused on the first six months of their marriage.
Pulse Movies have put together four reasons to binge-watch the web series.
1. The chemistry between lead characters
Let's talk about the chemistry between Dede and Tomide. Those two made Tuesdays a favourite day of the week for for nine weeks.
Their undeniable chemistry and complete understanding of one another is enough reason to watch "This is It."
2. It's Lowladee
Dolapo Adeleke is one filmmaker who is yet to do wrong in the filmmaking business.
Popularly called Lowladee, sheproduced one of the most interesting and emotional Nollywood short films ever in 2014, titled "Brave."
In 2015, she produce "A Place Called Happy" which stars Blossom Chukwujekuw, Sika Osei, Kiki Omeili among others.
While most of her works don't boast of an A-List cast, Adeleke tells stories that are superb, relatable and applaudable. She is yet to produce a series or movie that is torture to sit through.
3. The numbers don't lie
The first episode titled "Wedding Crashers" premiered with over 58,000 viewers tunning in to the anticipated web series.
It returned for its second week with over 55,000 views. It's 8th episode before a two-week hiatus was watched by 32, 746 viewers.
4. It has the perfect cast
With a cast led by Nick Mutuma and Chiagoziem Nwakanma, "This is It" also stars Stan Nze, Bimbo Ademoye, Bukola Oladipupo, Teni Aladese, Chisom Ofor, Joyce Maina, Nancy Isime, Ben Touitou, Kunle Coker, Tosan ugbeye, Asa’ah Samuel among others
The talented cast delivered an outstanding performance worth binge-watching.
