Show removes Steven Yeun’s name from opening credits

Korean American actor, Steven Yeun, who is popular for his character as Glenn Rhee on 'The Walking Dead' is no longer part of the opening titles.

 

According to 'The Walking Dead' last night's opening credits, Steven Yeun is no longer an official cast member of the show.

It marked the first time that Yeun, who is an original character, did not appear in the opening credits, since the start of the show.

The showrunner  Scott Gimple confirmed to TVLine that Gleen's character will be back on show  in some form.

“In some way, we will see Glenn,” he said, “some version of Glenn or parts of Glenn again, either in flashback or current story, to help complete the story.”

Sunday's undefinedfailed to address the death of the much loved character.

"Glenn's "death" will be addressed this half-season. I'd say sooner rather than later. We're ripping through this season pretty damn quick. People will know pretty damn quick," Gimple also said to THR.
